Glyn Alyn pets is a small independent dog walker and pet care provider based in Gwersyllt, Wrexham operated by Anthony a keen naturalist and zoology graduate.

Operating hours

  • Standard operating hours are 8am-6pm Monday – Friday.
  • As a guide:-
    • Holiday visits take place between 8am-10am and 4pm-6pm.
    • Day visits take place 10am-4pm.
  • Other times and weekends on occasion by request.

Registration

All new clients need to first register. This takes place in your home to give you the opportunity to talk through your requirements and to give me a chance to meet your pets.  Please allow up to an hour for this as it is one of the few times that we get to speak in person.

    • Please ensure a key is available for collection the same day.
    • Keys may also be kept in an agreed safe place. However, this is not recommended as if the key is not left in the safe place we would be unable to carry out the required service. Responsibility for keys kept in a safe place lies with the client except for the duration of the visit.

Booking  and scheduling

Bookings are classed as:-

  • Regular-  Where the booking results in visits that occur on specific days on a repeating schedule. Regular bookings will occur indefinitely until cancelled.
  • Irregular- Where the booking results in visits that take place on different days with no fixed schedule. Irregular  bookings will take place on dates specified by the client until completion of the last specified visit. Irregular visits are organised on a first come- first served basis.
  • I can accept  a maximum of 5 hours of daytime bookings each day, generally 4 hours of which are  reserved for regular bookings, and one hour for irregular bookings.

Methods of payment

Payments can be made via the following means:

  • Bank transfer
  • Standing order
  • Paypal (online or in person by card)
    • A surcharge of 2.8% of the total fee applies to Paypal transactions.
  • Payments are to be made at the start of each week.
  • An invoice can be provided upon request.

  3. Between BLUE and RED circles: Some locations within this area are covered.
  4. Beyond RED circle: Coverage may be possible in some areas just outside the red circle subject to availability.
