Here follows my policies:

Group dog walks:

Groups consist of a maximum of 3 dogs, before being included in group walks dogs will need to demonstrate that they:

  • Can walk calmly with/ around others on lead.
  • Do not consistently pester or otherwise consistently display behaviours that cause distress another dog in the group or causes another dog in the group to react in an aggressive way.

Off lead walks:

In addition to requiring written permission to allow dogs off lead it’s also necessary for:

  • Your dog to display a well developed recall in most circumstances.
    • Recall training will usually take place during walks with a long line, including with dogs who do not have permission to go off lead.
  • There to be an appropriate area for off lead walks.

Welfare:

In the interest of animal welfare I avoid taking any action or using any tool,which is by intent or by design aims to cause the animal pain and/or distress.
As every animal is an individual with their own individual personalities,  it may not be possible to avoid accidently causing or putting an animal in distress, in such a situation action would of course be taken to minimise any distress caused.

Privacy and data protection:

  • Prior to using any of my services, it is necessary to register.
    • Registration is done using an online form, but no bookings will be accepted until after I have met you and your pets.
  • Any personal data I collect is collected purely for the purpose of administering my services.
  • Clients will be asked periodically, or when there is a change in circumstances to update the information I hold to ensure that the information I have is up to date.
  • Data held about a client and their pets will be deleted/ securely disposed of should they have not used our services for over 2 years.
    • limited personal data such as a name, and email address and primary contact number may be retained after this period for identity purposes should the client choose to get in touch again at some point in the future.
  • No personal information will be shared/ sold or otherwise distributed to a 3rd party.
    An exception to this is if such information needs to be shared with a 3rd party for the smooth running of an event or workshop that I am hosting for the 3rd party. In which case, the 3rd parties privacy policy should also be taken into account.
